Folk Art Horse
This is the horse without the cart. I originally made this horse to go on a cart but the horse turned out so cool that I couldn't find a cart that would do him justice. So here is is with a worn out blanket for a saddle and old weavers thread for reigns. He is made from osnaburg fabric that has been painted and sanded and dyed and sanded until he looks VERY old. His tail and mane are chocolate brown dyed wool and his legs are wrapped with twine. He's 10 inches long and 9 inches tall.

Folk Art Sheep and Bird
This is a new twist on an old favorite. Instead of the traditional black crow, we decided to change to a folk art bird in reproduction material. He has built a little nest right on our sheep's back! Made from onasburg that had been hand dyed, this sheep stands 7 inches tall and is 9 inches long. A great addition to any shelf or cupboard.

Pig and Trough
This pig is a little darker than his picture will allow. He is made from antiqued osnaburg for a great texture and his wooden legs are wrapped with cord. I made an apple out of clay to hang around his neck and his tail is curled rusty wire. His hand made wooden trough is painted red and stained. I have filled it with cracked corn for a little snack. He's 9 inches long and a little over 5 inches tall.

Peahen
This Peahen is a Primitive Homespuns original design. She is made from painted muslin aged and worn and all grunged up! She is a great worn blue color and stained and sanded all over. I've given her wool tail feathers and wings and her eyes are hand painted. She measures 14 inches long and 8 inches tall and is gusseted and weighted so she will sit perfectly anywhere you put her.

One of Primitive Homespuns newest designs is this great olde crow. The base he is perched on is hand turned by my wonderful Dad. The base is painted and aged for a very primitive look. The crow is made from painted, sanded and dyed osnaburg. His wings are made separately and sewn on and his tail is quilted. He is 11 inches tall and 10 inches long.

Folk Art Horse and Cart
O.k., so I couldn't find a good enough cart to show off this great horse, so my Dad made one! This great cart is hand planed to add the wonderful texture to the wood. Then it's put through lots of painting and glazing until it looks really old. We added some great black metal wheels to make him complete. He is 9 inches long and 4 inches wide.
