My name is Kathy Makers. I started Primitive Homespuns 8 years ago out of a love of antiques and primitives. For the first 7 years I had the honor to work beside one of the most wonderful and funny and supportive people in my life. My mom. She was every wonderful poem and funny story ever written about mothers all rolled into one. On June 16, 2007 she passed away suddenly and life as I knew it was gone. It's been a rough 16 months but through it all, I have had the great support of my wonderful family to pick me up on my hardest days. I owe them everything. And so to my wonderful husband and kids. To my "new" partner, my fantastic and supportive (and also funny)dad. I dedicate all my achievements. You guys are my everything! I don't know what I would do without you.
